Of Poseidon Discussion 5

Chapter 22-26:

The closing events that occurred in this story left me breathless and shocked. First, we go back to the Syrena world and explore the cave of Syrena relics over the years. The descriptions and stories were beautiful and has to be one of my favorite scenes in the book. Galen find some interesting information about the half Syrenas while down there that could possibly help them answer all their questions. Second, Emma accuses her mother of not being her real mom. Mrs. McIntosh apologizes for ever making her daughter feel like she couldn't trust her or talk to her and left her with pictures of when Emma was born.

Third, Galen returns and he takes am out on a date to the movies. The fish boy is ever so the romantic because after the movies he takes Emma to a place she has always wanted to go; underwater to see the Titanic. The date ended beautifully with them sharing their first kiss but of course it is all ruined by Rayna. Outraged that Galen was in love with Emma knowing he shouldn't be, Rayna tells Emma about Grom and the real reason they came out to New Jersey. Emma is pissed and embarrassed that she was played as a fool that she "breaks up" with Galen. By the next morning at school everyone knows and girls are throwing themselves left and right at Galen. A couple days later Toraf finds Galen on a beach in England and tells Galen that he found Paca and she has the gift of Poseidon. Galen and Emma can be together!

Fourth, after several calls and texts Galen find Emma but she is on a date with another guy?! Galen doesn't let that phase him as he fights to get his girl back. After they argue and kiss Galen tells Emma that he's in love with her and She is in love with him too (insert happy sobs)!

Galen & Rayna leave to go congratulate their brother before the mating but they find out something completely shocking. So the fifth big thing is Paca is a fake! But Grom doesn't believe them and banished them from the kingdom until further notice.

Once our lovely fish boy and Rayna return back to the shore they find Toraf on the beach with a solemn expression on his face. Galen rushes to Emma's house with Toraf and Rayna on his heels. They rush past Emma and Galen goes over to her mother, and grabs her hand. He places both their hands into water and realizes our final breath taking moment. Mrs. McIntosh is Nalia!
