Chapters 7 & 8-

Colors. The very thought of trying to survive without them seems almost crazy. Chartreuse, magenta, turquoise, the cadmium yellow, and neon green; all of these colors bring so much into life. The death of Dianna Sweetwine seems to drain the world of its color and leave the people closest to her feeling that it's their fault.

For two years June thought it was her fault because she lost her rate you to Zephyr. Noah believed it was his fault because he knew she was upset and he still told her that he hated her and let her leave. Guillermo Believe that she never loved him and he felt he pushed her away and that led her to run back to her husband. Benjamin Sweetwine was left an empty body without her, feeling at blame that she was coming to talk to him and that if she hadn't and she would be alive. All of the characters felt at blame but eventually they learned that death happens to everyone and it's not anyone's fault when it does.

Everyone has finally found themselves again after searching for far too many days upon days. Oscar almost calls things off with Jude believing that it isn't their time but Jude explains that quitting now will only limit their time together further and that split-aparts should never be separated after finding each other. Guillermo is happy again knowing that his answer all this time was yes. Benjamin has that the light in and is following his dreams (his ark). Noah and Brian are back together and everything has been mended between them. All the secrets are out and no one is hiding anymore. This novel is beautiful and enchanting and it is my number one book of 2015. Honestly I don't think anyone can top it this year. Nelson is a phenomenal writer and I cannot wait to read her other works literature.
