Hush Hush Discussion 1

Prologue-Chapter 6:

Our story begins to unfold as we are introduced to an angle who has lost his wings. We never see the angel's fave as he talks to the Duc de Langeais so we do not know what he looks like. The angel had a dark and dangerous aura that surrounds him and he gave me that chills as I read. The story jumps forward in time as we move away from 1565 and land in the present. We meet sixteen year old Nora Grey who's biology class had just been forced to switch seats. Nora's best friend Vee is no longer her partner but the mysterious new student is. His name is Patch Cipriano and he is a senior stuck in a Grade 10 Bio class. No one knows anything about Patch because he doesn't talk that is until he meets Nora.

Patch seems to know everything about Nora although they had just met. The next day in class Couch asked Patch what qualities foes he look for in a partner and he describes Nora without her realising it. Patch makes her uncomfortable after flirting with her that and when the bell rings Vee and her try to convince Couch to change their seats back but he dismisses the idea.

One night when Nora was driving home in Vee's cars a think fog developed and she hits a man dressed all in black and wearing a ski mask. The man starts to attack Nora after getting hit. He rips the door off and grabs a hold of Nora's shoulder when she tries to drive away. When he finale lets go Nora calls Vee crying and she tells Nora to drive back to her house. It was a while before Nora showed Vee the car but when they went outside the car did not have a scratch on it as if the accident never happened. Nora's memory is a little spotty and she thinks that she imagined hitting the man.

The next morning Vee and Nora go out for coffee, and they meet Jules and Elliot. Elliot just transferred to their school from Kinghorn Prep after losing his scholarship. In the next couple of chapters Nora discovers Patch's student files is empty, hears his voice in her head when he was across the field, and agreed to a date with Elliot, Vee, and Jules.
