Hush Hush Discussion 2

Chapters 7-12:

Saturday night rolls around, Nora and Vee drive to Delphic Amusement Park for their dates with Elliot and Jules. Patch was in the arcade playing a game when Nora noticed him. She goes over to talk to him only because Vee continued to antagonize her. Patch tells Nora to meet him at the Archangel but she is a little nervous. Heights and Patch combined together sounded like a bad idea, but that didn't stop Nora from going anyways. During the ride Nora noticed her seat belt was unbuckled and tried to fix it but she falls out of the cart. I'm scared of heights too so reading this part made me anxious. When Nora opened her eyes she is back in the cart safe and she doesn't know how.

After the ride is over Patch and Nora go looking for Vee and the boys. They looked all over the Amusement Park but could not find her or the boys and Vee's car in even gone. After a while Nora accepts Patch's offer of a ride home on his motorcycle which she was skeptical about getting on when she first saw it.

Things start to become more steamy and intense between Nora and Patch as the book continues. Nora refused to see the connection between them and begins to doubt it farther after someone who has a striking resemblance to Patch, attacks Vee thinking that she was Nora. Elliot is another character this is becoming more suspensions every time we see him especially after Nora discovers the real reason why he might have Kinghorn Prep.
