Chapters 1-6:

Talk about starting off with a bang. As soon as we start reading our main character has crashed into to the shirtless chest of a very attractive male. The first sentence of the story has to be my all-time favorite first sentence in a book ever. It is witty, ironic, and hilarious. I am already captivated by the story and it's only just begun.

Our main female character is 17-year-old Emma McIntosh from Seaside, New Jersey. When I first bought this book I had no idea it took place in my home state and that the character was my age. Emma is the first character I've read that I have had a close relation to. I'm really enjoying her character and I hope she doesn't change too much.

Galen Forza is our main male character and the story flips between him and Emma's point of view. Galen is charming, arrogant, cocky, caring, and I love him (add him to the already long list of fictional boyfriends)! I can already tell that there is something special brain between him and Emma, but I know Galen is going to hold back for his own conflicting reasons and it's going to kill me.

The story is moving very quickly right now and there hasn't been a dull moment yet. I'm really enjoying this novel and I hope it lives up to the hype. Good mermaid books are hard to come by and I am crossing my fingers that this book will be added to the list good ones.
