Of Poseidon Discussion 2

Chapters 7-11:

Emma is a Syrena! Or as U.S. humans refer to their species; a mermaid. Galen tells her of his suspicions but now Emma feels as if she can't trust him. We can kind of blame her finding out so soon on Rayna; Galen's rude and arrogant little sister; since she did pick a fight with Emma by blaming Chloe's death on Em. Rayna gets on my nerves a lot because of how stubborn and judgemental she is. Her "mate" Toraf is more outgoing and knows how to make anyone feel at ease. I think he is a great character as well as a great addition to the story. I want to see more of him and his snarky humor.

The scene where Emma's mom interrogates Galen had me dying of laughter. His awkwardness throughout the whole conversation and the fact that she grabbed him by his T-shirt was amusing but so relatable. I can actually imagine my own mother doing that to a guy like along with some threats in there like Emma's mom. Maybe it's a Jersey girl thing? Let me know what you think down below.
