SUMMARY: After returning home from Idris and the accords were settled, Clary Fray begins her shadowhunter training. As she trains Clary begins to notice a strange change in Jace. Meanwhile, Simon is being attacked by strange men who get blown into salt the moment they touch him. He is also summoned by the head of Raphael's clan; Camille Belcourt, asking for him help. Simon is now a target and he has no clue who to trust or what to do.

RATE: 5/5 Stars

FAVORITE QUOTE: "L'amor che move il sole e l'altre stelle...it means that love is the most powerful force in the world. That love can do anything."

SONGS THAT REMIND ME OF THIS STORY:

Girl Crush- Little Big Town

Like I'm Gonna Lose You- Meaghan Trainer ft John Legend

Beloved- VNV Nation

FINAL WORDS: City of Fallen Angels is the fourth instalment in the Mortal Instruments series in a lot of peoples least favourite book in the chronicles. Ironically this is my favourite book in the Mortal Instruments series. I loved learning more about the shadowhunter and downworlder world. We were introduced to a lot of new characters that brought their own uniqueness to the story. The ending of this novel brought me distraught and I am nervous about Sebastian's part in the next book.

WHAT I LEARNED: Deception is the most powerful weapon in the hands of the enemy.
