FAVORITE QUOTE: "We live and breathe the words. It was books that kept me from taking my own life after I thought I could never love anyone, never been loved by anyone again. It was books that made me feel that I was not completely alone" W.H.
SONGS THAT REMIND ME OF THIS STORY:
Sleepsong- Bastille
No One Ever Loved- Lykke Li
The Theory of Everything- Jóhann Jóhannsson
FINAL WORDS: In the second instalment to the Infernal Devices Trilogy, Cassandra Clare writes another captivating story. In this instalment we go on in adventure with Will, Jem, Tessa as they try to find Mortmain, save Charlotte's job, and save the shadowhunters from destruction. Along the way friendships are made, love is found, spies are revealed, and traitors are confronted. Clockwork Prince is filled with surprises at every chapter or so. I absolutely love how beautiful London is in the late 1800s and the Gothic tone it gives to the story. The characters in this story are developing in such amazing ways that I'm growing attached almost all of them. I do not think my heart is ready for Clockwork Princess.
WHAT I LEARNED: People should be allowed to live the life they want to live without the interference of others.
