Magnus Chase & the Gods of Asgard: The Sword of Summer

Rick Riordan

SUMMARY: Magnus Chase thought he would spend the rest of his life on the streets. But when a man and his daughter start passing around missing flyers with his face on it in Boston, his life gets a bit tricky. RATE: 4.5 Stars

FAVORITE QUOTE: "Myths are simply stories about truths we've forgotten."

PLAYLIST:

•Prisoners- Regina Spektor

•Cosmic Love- Florence & The Machine

•Hero- Family of the Year

•Weight of Living, Pt. 1- Bastille

WHAT I LEARNED: Not all words that are spoken are the truth. Many are simply just pretty lies.

FINAL WORDS: I have been reading Rick Riordan's work for three years now and he never ceases to amaze me. From the world of Percy Jackson & the Olympians to the Heroes of Olympus to the Kane Chronicles and now Magnus Chase & the Gods of Asgard. The way Riordan constructs his worlds is amazing and I cannot possibly imagine what he has in store for us readers next.
