Maybe Someday Discussion 2

Chapters 7-12:

My feelings have betrayed me! Nothing is supposed to be going on between Ridge and Sydney, it's wrong! Guys come on Maggie is a person with feelings too. It is so wrong, but dammit everything about Ridge and Sydney is so right.

The reaction above has been me since we last chat. Yes, I want Ridge to be with Sydney. The problem there is I really like Maggie and cheating or leaving someone for another is against my values. But apparently when it comes to these two characters my values get thrown out the window.

The scene where Ridge is laying on Sydney's chest while he plays guitar and tries to hear her sing is so beautiful it made my heart ache. Also, when he tells her the reason that he doesn't talk which he has never told anyone before, broke mean. But when Sydney hears her song being sung and Ridge just wishes he could hear, killed me. In that moment he tries to feel her singing along and eventually ends up kissing her. The idea of Maggie was gone and all I cared about was Sydney and Ridge. My values get pushed aside when I'm reading about them and I just hope that in the end Ridge does not leave Maggie for Sydney.
