Chapters 13-18:

I do not understand how so many complex feelings could be attacking me all that once right now. I want Ridge to be with Maggie but I want Ridge to be with Sydney too. I'm so confused.

Now that I've expressed how confused I am with this situation let's talk about Maggie and her cystic fibrosis. Sydney finds Maggie on the bathroom floor passed out and immediately tries to help her. She screams Ridge's name, but forgets that he can't hear her and has to leave Maggie alone to get him. Afterwards, Sydney gets Waren to help out and the two boys move like clockwork as if this has happened before; which it has. At the hospital Sydney looks up Maggie's condition and all I can gather from it was it's a type of illness that is life-threatening. I asked my mother what cystic fibrosis is since she works in the medical field. She told me that cystic fibrosis is when someone develops cyst in their abdominal area. This illness is scary and effects many people. I just hope that Maggie will be okay in the end.
