Maybe Someday Discussion 4

Chapters 19-24:

I'm writing this final discussion after reading the epilogue that you can find on http://www.maybesomedaysoundtrack.com/extras.php. The password is at the back of your book. I won't go into detail because everyone deserves to bask in the beauty of it. All I can say is that it brought me the closure that I needed to say goodbye to these characters.

In the last five chapters tragic events were happening back to back. First, Maggie reads everything Sydney and Ridge ever wrote to each other after Ridge left his computer at the hospital. Second, Ridge tells Sydney she needs to leave the apartment that same day and he doesn't care if her new apartment isn't ready yet. So, Warren ends up taking her to a hotel for a couple days. Third, Maggie breaks up with Ridge. The ironic part about that is she doesn't break up with him because of the Sydney situation. Maggie has always felt suffocated by Ridge and felt that no matter how much she loved him, she knew that they weren't good for each other. Sydney just gave her that extra push she needed to end things for good.

It takes Ridge three weeks to get the courage to talk to Sydney. It takes her three months to finally say the magic word "when" well more like sign it to him.
