Me Before You Discussion 2

Chapters 7-13:

The story is really starting to pick up now that we have gotten to know the characters better. At the beginning of chapter 8 it is your view that Camilla Traynor, Will's mother, agreed to help her son kill himself. Louisa finds out about the plan and refuses to be apart of it. Lou's sister, Treena convinces her to keep the job and show Will what it is to live.

The Traynor's agree to Lou's plan to help change Will's mind. The first trip that Louisa takes Will on is to watch a horse race. Nathan tags along to provide medical assistance. The trip turned into a disaster and Louisa felt terrible about the whole thing.

In chapter 12, we discover that Louisa was raped and it completely changed the person she was. Not a single person knows about what happened to her except Treena because she's the one that found her. Neither one of the sisters has mentioned it to each other since that day.

Treena is back at College with her son, Thomas, and Lou now has her room. Louisa has been making progress with Will and he has even agreed to come to Lou's birthday dinner. The dinner goes well. Will even buys her an adult sized bumblebee tights while Patrick got her a necklace that she would never wear in a hundred years. But of course Louisa's parents love Will and Patrick cannot stand him. I myself love Will, but cannot stand Patrick. He needs to leave Louisa alone so she can be with Will.
